What methods of payment do you accept?

You can shop online using Apple Pay, Paypal,Google Pay or we also accept card payment via American Express, Visa or Mastercard.

Are my card details safe?

Absolutely, we process all transactions using Stripe through secure servers so your card details will stay confidential. We do not have access to your details. We also accept PayPal payments.

Does conscious.cleaning ship internationally?

Unfortunately we do not currently ship outside of the UK but check back in the future in case anything changes

What will my products come shipped in?

At conscious.cleaning we place a lot of importance on ensuring all our products are plastic free and sustainable. That is why we have opted for single walled recycled cardboard boxes, as they are much easier to recycle again. We also use compostable and biodegradable tape and labels to ensure they too, leave no trace on the earth

When can I expect my order?

All of our orders are shipped out within 24 hours of the order being placed and are delivered by Royal Mail. We use 2nd class delivery as standard so allow 48 hours for delivery

Can I track my order?

Currently, we do not offer a tracking service for our customers. If your package has not arrived within 10 days of placing your order, please email info@conscious.cleaning and we will sort out your issue.

Can I cancel or change my order once it has processed?

We may be able to cancel or amend your order if it has not been dispatched. Please reach out to us at info@conscious.cleaning and we will see if we can help. Unfortunately once the item has been shipped there is no possibility to cancel.

I haven't received my order?

If your package has not arrived within 10 days of placing your order, please email info@conscious.cleaning and we will sort out your issue.

What is your return policy?

We have a 30 day returns policy. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

How do I return my order?

Please reach out to info@conscious.cleaning to discuss returning your order to us.
Please note, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Subscriptions

How does my conscious.cleaning subscription work?

It's really simple...

First, pick which product you'd like to subscribe to. Check out our predefined kits or our individual products to to see what you'd like to subscribe to.

Secondly, select the frequency you'd like to receive your deliveries, this can be either every 1 month, 2 month or 3 months

Thirdly, select the quantity you'd like to receive.

Finally, enter your shipping and billing information, and you're all set.

If something changes, don’t worry. You can cancel, pause, or skip subscription deliveries in your account at any time.

Just log into My Account to make any adjustments.

If I sign up for a conscious.cleaning subscription, will it renew automatically?

Yes, your subscription will renew automatically every 1, 2, or 3 months depending on the frequency you selected during your initial purchase.

If you want to modify, change the date of your next order, skip your next order, or cancel your subscription, log into your account on our website.

Once you're logged in, click on ‘My Subscriptions’ and select the subscription you’d like to update.

How do I access my subscription settings?

You will need to log in to your account

If you do not have an account, you will need to sign up for one using the same email address you used to purchase your subscription.

Once you've logged in, select ‘My Subscriptions’. If you have multiple subscriptions, choose which one you’d like to manage and select ‘Manage Subscriptions.’

How do I make changes to my subscription?

I won't be needing my conscious.cleaning products for a while. How do I put my subscription on hold?

You can pause your conscious.cleaning subscription at any time.

To do so, just sign into your account. Select the subscription you want to adjust, select Frequency and choose ‘Pause’ to put your subscription on hold.

You will not be charged for any subscription refills while your subscription is on hold.

You can also choose to skip your next refill order by selecting 'Skip Refill Order' under Subscription Settings.

Will I get a reminder email before my next shipment?

You certainly will. We send a reminder 3 days before any payment is taken and before any products are shipped just to give you some time to make any changes, add any products or pause you delivery as you need to.

It says I don't have an account

This might be because no account was setup when you made your first purchase or first setup your subscription.

If this is the case, all you need to do is set one up. Click here and use the same email address that you used when you made your purchase with, this will then ensure your subscription or purchases are linked.

Packaging

Will my products arrive in plastic packaging?

Absolutely not, at conscious.cleaning we want to make sure we leave no or as little trace as possible, so we have focused on making as much as possible compostable - meaning that they are certified to break down completely into non-toxic components (water, carbon dioxide and biomass) without doing any harm to the environment - or at least recyclable. And that includes all our packaging

What is your packaging made of?

All our products are delivered in recycled cardboard boxes that can, in turn be recycled. We only use tape that is biodegradable and compostable.

Can I recycle the packaging?

Absolutely, all of our delivery boxes and tape is made from recycled cardboard and can be recycled using your local collection services.

We are Lyndsay & Annemarie, two ladies who love the earth but are less fond of cleaning (the irony).

Do you manufacture your own products?

Early on we made the decision not to manufacture our own products and instead focus on finding the best products on the market.

That way we can ensure we only work with and stock the most effective products, that also meet our strict eco criteria, ensuring they are good for our customer and good for the planet.

Do you provide replacement bottles & tins?

You can purchase replacement bottles and spray tops one our shop

Are you products vegan?

All of our products are vegan and contain no animal derived ingredients. They are not tested on animals and we do not collaborate with businesses who do.

Are you products tested on animals?

Absolutely not.

Neither we nor any of our suppliers test on animals and we won't work with anyone who requires animal testing.

Are your products safe for use around pets?

Once diluted, our cleaning products are non-toxic and not harmful to the environment or aquatic life. However we'd always recommend checking with your vet in the case of specific household pets as we use essential oils which can sometimes be harmful to some animals.

Are your products hazardous to the environment or aquatic life?

Once diluted according to the instructions (250ml of water for the floor cleaners and 500ml of water for all other eco-pods) our eco-pods are non toxic, not hazardous and not harmful to the environment or aquatic life.

Why is there a hazard warning on my packaging?

The hazard warnings apply to the undiluted eco-pod, not the finished cleaning product you use.

We have opted to reduce the carbon footprint by leaving out the unnecessary water, and selling the concentrated form which can easily be sent in the post.

This high concentration means we have to display hazard warnings. However once diluted these no longer apply. Please rest assured that once made up, your cleaning products are non toxic, not hazardous and not harmful to the environment or aquatic life. This is why you won't see any hazard warnings on the labels for your bottles of finished product.

The Eco-Pods

How do I use the eco pods?

These little eco-pods are super easy to use. Just drop, fill, shake and repeat!

Use one of your conscious.cleaning aluminium bottles or clean a bottle big enough for your cleaning solution, pop in the eco-pod, follow the enclosed instructions and top up with lukewarm water.

Then replace and tightly seal the lid, shake a little and within a couple of minutes you'll see the sachet dissolve and the liquid inside mix with the water to make your cleaner!

How long do the sprays last?

The solution in our bottles should last you a similar length of time as a traditional cleaning spray bottle. How long one bottle worth of solution lasts depends on how often you clean and how much you use, and is often dependent on the size of your home and family.

Do I need to shake the bottle to dissolve?

Yes definitely, giving the bottle a good shake helps the products to dissolve properly ensure you get the best out of it

Do I need to use warm water?

Luke warm water is advised to ensure the little eco-pod dissolves as it should and you can get the best out of your product.

How often can I refill my aluminium bottles?

We believe the bottles should last for at least 200 refills however from time to time bottles and spray tops may become damaged. If this has happened to you, please let us know so we can try and rectify the issue.

Can I use a bottle I have at home?

Of course, we're firm believers in reusing. Just make sure the bottle and spray top are clean and dry before using again.

How should I store the eco-pods?

Your eco pods should be stored in cool and dry place. As they're water soluble putting them in one of our aluminium contains would be ideal, but any sealed container would work just as well.

Like all cleaning products, they should be stored in a high, locked cupboard away from children and pets. The eco-pods have a shelf life of 1 year.

Laundry Detergent Sheets

How do the laundry detergent sheets work?

Add 1 or 2 sheets in your drum, place all your clothes inside the washing machine and start the machine.

For hand-washing, tear half a sheet and swirl it in a bucket of water until it dissolves. Hand-wash your clothes as usual.

Will the laundry detergent sheets effectively remove stains from my clothing?

Yes, however we would recommend treating your stains as you would with any other detergents.

Will the laundry tablet work in both cold and warm/hot water?

Absolutely, these laundry detergent sheets work just as well in cold as they do in hot water temperatures.

Are your sheets suitable for septic tanks?

There are no septic safety concerns anticipated with use of this product, if used as directed in a properly functioning septic system.

Are the laundry sheets Bio or Non-Bio?

These sheets are classed as Non Bio simply because they do not contain any enzymes.
Non-biological laundry detergents offer the same great cleaning power of their biological counterparts, but without the enzymes.

Vegan Dishwasher Tablets

How do I use the dishwasher tablets?

Do not unwrap tablet. Using dry hands, place one tablet in dispenser of dishwasher. Use dishwasher according to manufacturer's instructions. The tablets are wrapped in a water-soluble film which will dissolve in use and biodegrade to be harmless to the environment.

Are these tablets earth friendly?

Absolutely, they are made using ingredients derived from plant extracts from sustainable sources, they're natural, biodegradable, and safer for the environment.

Are they suitable for septic tanks?

There are no septic safety concerns anticipated with use of this product, if used as directed in a properly functioning septic system.

Do I need to use rinse aid?

Not with these bad boys, as they have a built in rinse aid, degreasing action, and powerful cleaning agents will leave your glasses and dishes sparkling
